The Prophet, salla Allahu alayhi wasalam, would often spend part of the night praying and would make pray for his Ummah, he would pray for US. He would call upon Allah: “Ya Rabbi, Ummati! Ummati!” (My Lord, my people, my people!) and he would begin to cry and weep for us.
